What happens if I stop paying my bill by Direct Debit?

Energy Online is currently only offered to Direct Debit customers and if you choose to opt out of paying by Direct Debit you will not be able to manage your electricity account online. If you decide to start paying by Direct Debit again you will be able to see all your previous consumption history and bills online.

 

Energy Online is also our best deal, saving domestic customers up to £60* each year with 6% discount off our standard unit rate. You will be missing out on this discount and saving if you choose to leave Energy Online.

 

*Energy Online customers with Monthly Direct Debit get 4% discount off the Power NI standard rate, up to £10 per quarter equivalent to £40 per year and will receive a further 2% off the Power NI standard rate, up to £5 per quarter equivalent to £20 per year. Energy Online customers with Quarterly Direct Debit get 2.5% discount off the Power NI standard rate, up to £6.50 per quarter equivalent to £26 per year and will receive a further 2% off the Power NI standard rate, up to £5 per quarter equivalent to £20 per year. The maximum discount would be obtained by a customer spending £250 each quarter on electricity. Power NI standard rate is 16.82p kWh Ex.Vat / 17.66p kWh Inc. Vat.
